“The wealthiest places in the world are not goldmines, oil fields, diamond mines or banks.
The wealthiest place is the cemetery.
There lies ideas that were never started, masterpieces that were never painted…
In the cemetery there is buried the greatest treasure of untapped potential.”- Myles Munroe (1954 – 2014)
ABOUT ASTTEC
This is who we are.
AST Talent Enhancement Centre (ASTTEC) is a not-for-profit educational organisation established in 2020 with the aim of providing a set of online and face-to-face tools that will help Australian youths align their inherent talents with surrounding opportunities and become significant in the Australian multicultural society.
Research has found that the employment prospects of most Australian youths are determined by a combination of their level of education/technical skills and their ability to communicate effectively in the local language, which is English. Education thus provides a mechanism by which Australian youths can harness their skills and strengths to acquire employment/investment opportunities and pave pathways for their future success. To satisfy this need, the idea of ASTTEC was conceived.
OUR LEARNING
Why Learn with Asttec?
Young people are particularly vulnerable in making transition from school to further education or work. Some factors that can make this transition more difficult include e.g., lack of understanding the need for education and fostering their career pathways.
The selected youths will be encouraged to learn, understand, and practice activities that arouse their interests at their own pace, thereby accelerating their learning process. This is what distinguishes ASTTEC from other educational institutions.
